The new school year is coming up faster than you think and it’s time to register for classes already. There are many interesting electives to choose from and lots to learn.

Criminal Justice is an elective that shows the nature of criminality, both the legal and social aspects. This course also includes the importance of law enforcement and court systems, how the criminal trial process works, and practice in forensic techniques. Criminal Justice would help in careers like law enforcement and forensic science.

Another amazing class here at Highland is Driver’s Education. This class helps you learn about laws, roadway markings and signs, safety, and obviously, how to operate a car. There are a few requirements for this class though, you must be at least 15 and a half years old and the fee is $20. Driver’s Ed is an amazing class and I definitely recommend it!

There are plenty of more electives, but I thought I’d mention a few of the interesting ones.
