As things settle down in this pandemic, most community activities are starting to return back to normal. Now things like movie theaters, water parks, museums, and live music are back in business. New opportunities can be found anywhere, it’s just a matter of seeing what’s out there.

Here are some music events for you to check out:

Gilbert is having a new “Water Tower Plaza Concert Series” from October 7th to the 28th. Four local bands are organized to play each Thursday of the month of October in downtown Gilbert.

If you are worried about what type of music is going to be played, don’t stress because all genres of music are planned to be played. Feel free to “Grab a blanket or a lawn chair and meet us under the Gilbert Water Tower at 45 W Page Avenue“ (gilbertaz.gov). This is a great way to engage with the community and to socialize with others of all ages.

As a fan of live music and concerts, it was hard to see popular music artists cancel their tours due to Covid 19. However, as things transition back to normal I couldn’t resist researching bands coming to our communities. Here are some results organized by genre according to Ticketmaster:

Live music is an experience like no other and these are just a few of many concerts out there. I suggest you do your own research on your favorite bands and go explore them. Some good resources are ticketmaster.com and seatgeek.com. Not to mention, there are loads of apps like Bandsintown and Vivid Seats that you can download from your phone and get notifications of your favorite bands touring near you.

As one last reminder, we are still living in a pandemic and it is important to take as many precautions as you can to stop the spread of Covid 19. At events like these, it can be hard to follow every restriction but do your best to wear a mask and social distance. Make sure you do your research on concerts you are interested in because some concerts require you get covid vaccinations in order to enter. Stay safe and have fun.
