Finally getting started on the next phase! Marvel fans have been anticipating the next stage of the Marvel series as they watched “Endgame” and all of Marvel’s mini-show releases.  Now since phase four left fans with mixed reviews and the absence of some of the bigger characters, the anticipation for phase five is high. Phase Five introduces the following into the Marvel universe; Ant-Man And The Wasp; Quantumania, What If…?  Season 2, Secret Invasion, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.3, Loki  Season 2, and Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse. To name a few of the films that are expected to hit the big screens.

Now for those fans that have been on the fence since the departure of characters like Iron Man, Black Widow, and Captain America these new releases are a sign of positive and exciting change for the universe, new heroes, new villains, and even more films! The soon-to-be-released Ant-Man will be Marvel’s thirty-first film in the cinematic verse and they’ve released some images of Scott Lang, who is Ant-Man in a Baskin-Robbins uniform teasing the film as an easter egg for fans. Now though that is currently the most anticipated film, many fans are excited about what this film means for the rest of the marvel-verse.  Paul Rudd had this to say to fans about the upcoming film  “He’s (Scott Lang) a regular guy, a regular guy just getting out of jail (in reference to the first film,) and now…he has been through a lot and grown up a lot…He’s gained knowledge.” ScreenSlam interview.

Quantumania is a movie picking up from Scott Lang’s storyline at the end of Endgame where he is reunited with his girlfriend and daughter and they are finally able to live out their lives.“ (He) Finally gets to breathe, relax, and spend some time with his daughter, which lasts for about five minutes.” Paul Rudd  told ScreenSlam

Kang from Film Figures

This movie also brings new characters to life including the very highly-anticipated Kang, a well-known villain within the Marvel comics. There is a lot to look forward to with these new releases, and even more to love about Marvel. So just make sure to keep your eyes peeled for any new announcements, trailers, and sneak peeks of the up-and-coming releases.  Antman and The Wasp Quantumanina was out on February 17th of this year,  so go and watch and make sure you stay till the end!
