This week, October 4, Freshman A and B football teams won their games. Freshman A has continued their undefeated streak.

On A team Jackson Delsi scored the touchdown to tie the game up with 2 seconds left. Delsi says “the main thought going through my head was my mom is gonna be so happy!”

Jackson Ray (Kicker) says he was “nervous and very scared” to kick the final field goal of the game. When he looked to see if the goal was made, he realized it had made it when “the whole team went crazy!”

On the B team,  Sherome Weatherspoon carried the Team to victory. The only thing Weatherspoon was thinking about as he was scoring was “just to score again.” During the game, however, Weatherspoon was injured and all he wanted was to get back onto the field.  But even with Weatherspoon out, the Hawks pulled through for a win.
