The Highland Sun newspaper is a student-led, student-created news website based in the Journalism I and II classes at Highland High School in Gilbert, Arizona. Our purpose is to give students the opportunity to learn about professional writing and editing through this unique platform.

Please understand that students run, edit, write, photograph, and lead this site. You will occasionally see errors in content, spelling/grammar/punctuation, etc.  You are welcome to leave comments and suggestions, but we ask that you are constructive with any comments. Mistakes happen as we learn.

Guest writers may submit their writing via email to hhs[email protected] for consideration by our student editors.
